It’s not every day that you get to interview an ancient philosopher and, although this is not a real Q&A, on the latest episode of theDIHEDRAL Podcast I (Carrot) sat down to talk about Plato. More specifically, I break down what I consider to be some of the high points of Plato’s Allegory of The Cave.
In book VII of The Republic, Plato examines just what it takes to escape habit and creature comforts, to experience life, and all the beauty it has to offer.
I hope you’ll join me as I take some poetic liberties in breaking down one of the original climbing stories in Plato’s Allegory of The Cave!
If you are interested in reading The Republic, you can find it HERE.

Thanks for the links. I have never read Plato. For now, given the number of unread books I’m trying to get through, it’ll be one for the list. I’ll check out the podcast though. Take care, Julian
