Deez Nuts

This was the winning shirt in our tournament of shirts!  I’m not completely surprised it won, but if it’s Deez Nuts vs. the field, I would have taken the field.  I was surprised to see that our Karl Marx ‘Classy!’ shirt made it to the finals, but ultimately voters couldn’t resist Deez Nuts!

So, in light of the big win, we are celebrating our Deez Nuts t-shirts (simply referred to as Deez Nuts) with a gear review!

Deez Nuts tees and hoodies make for the perfect base layer and outer layer for any climber.  Unlike many, I’m ultimately a fan of the heather royal blue option, but Deez Nuts in any color will have your friends and climbing partners green with envy.

Pulling out Deez Nuts can be fun on any climb, but it’s especially fun when you use Deez Nuts in a crack, provided you are using the right protection.  As we always say at theDIHEDRAL, safety first, even more so when you are with a new partner!

Deez Nuts are soft, warm, and comfortable.  Sure to draw attention from everyone at the crag.

They come in a variety of sizes, so whether you like them loose and baggy or taut and rigid, we have you covered.

Of course, we understand that Deez Nuts aren’t for everybody, so if they aren’t for you, there are plenty of other options that may suit your desires at our pro-shop.  However if Deez Nuts are for you it’s important to know that they are machine washable, and a quick spin in the dryer will get out any wrinkles!

Hi Warren, I wonder why you think that we are Trump Americans? Just an FYI that we are a team of immigrants. If we said something that gave you the idea that we are folks who support Trump or his policies toward Canada, please let us know. Me personally, I am from a long line of proud Canadians, a large percentage of my family lives in Canada. We came to the US from London Ontario, and I personally am ashamed of the disrespect that the current leadership is promoting. One of my favorite climbing destinations in the world is Tobermory, Canada, We have written and promoted the beautiful outdoors of Canada for years. I understand that there are people who get behind the vitriolic rhetoric of the current administration, but we do not. We don’t want to lose you as a reader, and we don’t want to miss an opportunity to have a dialogue about the role of citizens who happen to live and work in place where the leaders do not accurately represent the beliefs of the citizens. So, that being said, please feel free to allow us to continue the dialogue in a mutually beneficial way, from person to person. We really are honored to have you as a reader, but more so to share a dialogue with you. So, we are grateful for your comment and future comments, and hope you believe that we do not align ourselves with policies of the current administration and are in fact heartbroken over direction of US politics (especially when it comes to the people who are being hurt and the public lands that are losing protection).

Thank you for replying, I do think this is an important conversation, and I am here to tell you there are marches and sit-ins nearly every single day. My mom went to one just last night. Much of it is grass roots, so won’t be
publicized, but in the US, we are scared too. People in the US are being round up, just for looking different, rights are being trampled, voices are being ignored.

We understand the situation is dire and we at theDIHEDRAL have always put people and environment before parties and politics. You are not alone. Growing up in Detroit meant I grew up around people who lived in Canada and worked in the US or lived in the US and worked in Canada.

My grandpa served in the army (for Canada) during WWII. I grew up going back and forth across the ambassador bridge on a regular basis. I know that Canadian citizens and US citizens are and will always be allies. And I’ll never be offended when people criticize the US “leadership”. Because when “leaders” make horrible decisions, they deserve to be called out.

I too cannot speak for everyone in the US, but here in our little climbing community, we support and acknowledge the spectacular country that is Canada!!!
