This weeks gear review may not seem so important to some but if you’re like me, a self proclaimed water bottle hoarder, you’ll love this little or big guy! The hydro flask is one of those things you ask yourself if you need to actually spend money on and in my book; yes!! All the way it is totally worth the bit of money you’ll spend.
The hydro flask caught my eye a few months back with their charming display at my local grocery store. These little beauties come in a variety of sizes ranging from 18 oz all the way up to 64 oz. and come in about 16 different colors. As well as tons of styles, from tumblers, coffee mugs, and sports bottles. Now if you can’t find the one that matches you’re personality then I don’t know what to tell you!
Not only are these flasks aesthetically pleasing they are also mechanically pleasing. They are made using 18/8 stainless steel which ensures the upmost strength you can get for a water bottle. A double walled design to help ensure your cold beverages stay cold for up to 24 hours and hot beverages stay warm for up to 12. The outside of the bottle is coated with powder coat giving it added texture for a better grip with wet. And last but not least, each comes with a life time warranty!! Now how could you beat that??
Recommendation: outdoor activities to daily life.
Specs: 3.6 x 3.6 x 9.1 inches,
Item Weight 15.7 ounces, Stainless-Steel.
MSRP: $39.95 (32oz)

I’ve heard about the hydroflask and my friend has one and LOVES it! For me, it’s just been making the leap of rationalization into spending the money on one. I’m a member of REI, so I should probably wait for one of their big sales. I work at a place where I can constantly get fresh ice and water, so that’s why I haven’t bought one. But I can totally see why it works for those who climb outdoors a lot. Nothing worse than being on a hike with nothing but warm liquids. Gross!
Not to mention it’s eco-friendly. Less plastic from single serve bottles when you have one of these.

Thank you so much for sharing this!! Your review has convinced me to possibly buy some of these as Christmas presents for people I know. 🙂 I currently have a Swell bottle (similar to the specs you describe) but I’m always game for trying new things!

I was given a Hydro Flask coffee mug recently. It’s been great for taking hot beverages to work with me. Apparently you can put ice cream in these and got for an hour long hike then eat ice cream.

Have you seen the Hawaii limited edition colors? 😍 we have 4 of these in our house, schools now require for the kids to carry water bottles especially during the hotter season. We love them. We also love Yetti. Hubby has a couple customer made with his unit badge engraved on them

These things are dope. Mine is always within reach. Contemplating a second to be used for hot beverages since there is never not water in the one I have.
