Today marks an important date in our calendar: The first day of our annual Plastic Cap challenge. To commemorate this year’s attempt to create environmental awareness, we aimed to incorporate content related to the topic throughout the month of February. Therefore, today we have the opportunity to share with you a highly educative podcast episode on climate change and climate change policies (plus every question a non-scientist could have) with professor and expert, Andrew Dessler.
Dr. Dessler is a climate scientist and Professor of Atmospheric Sciences at Texas A&M University. His research subject areas are atmospheric chemistry, climate change and climate change policy. Having the opportunity to interview and learn from a former senior policy analyst in the White House Office of Science and Technology made this experience both exciting and, in the spirit of Plastic Cap month, challenging¹.
We hope you have a moment to join us as Dr. Dessler clarifies the science and political issues related to climate change and the ‘conspiracy theories’ behind it.
