Tessa Minicucci

Tessa received her BS from Michigan State University and did her graduate work at University of Alaska Fairbanks.  A marine biologist with a focus on fisheries and more specifically the growth and decline of the pacific salmon population.  Tessa has participated in field studies and research from Russia all the way to The Galapagos Islands.  She is currently the research and evaluation manager for the southern southeast regional aquaculture association better known as SSRAA.

Tessa joined us on theDIHDERAL Podcast to talk about life in wilderness Alaska as well as sustainable fishing and responsible consumerism concerning Alaskan Salmon.

  1. I have to admit most of it was over my head. But I’m glad to know there’s smart and dedicated scientists like Tessa who can do the problem solving.

    As for non Alaskan beer… I can recommend Golden Monkey. It’s not for everyone. But probs an Alaskan can handle it.
