Pistons vs Timberwolves pt. 2

I’m back again with another Pistons vs. Timberwolves article, but this time it’s all about the five best bench players from both teams. So these top five for each of these teams made huge impacts off the bench at one point in their career. I will say this was a little bit tougher of research but I enjoyed it and it’s looking at the battle on a little bit different aspect. Here are the top five Timberwolves bench players (no particular order).

  1. Naz Reid
  2. Malik Beasley
  3. J.J. Barea
  4. Derrick Rose
  5. Taurean Prince

Here’s the top five Pistons bench players (no particular order).

  1. Vinnie Johnson
  2. Antonio McDyess
  3. Corliss Williamson
  4. Lindsey Hunter
  5. Jason Terry

Now the matchup is pretty similar to the first one as in the Pistons have the more old school roster and the Timberwolves have the more modern roster. I will say the toughness edge goes to the Pistons, but the versatility players go to the Timberwolves.

Now this is for sure going to seven games, but even without my bias love for my Timberwolves I have them beating the bench Pistons in a best of seven series.

I hope you enjoyed this different aspect of this matchup, if you have any matchups you want me to write about or come up with share and comment. Now time to go watch some hoops.
