Pistons vs Timberwolves pt.6

Well you know I’m back with another versus article, I hope you aren’t getting sick of these. This time it’s all about the G-league teams for the Pistons and Timberwolves. If you do not know what the G-league is here is a little bit about it. The NBA G League is the official minor league of the NBA. It’s basically basketball’s version of the minor leagues in baseball.

The league helps:

  • Develop young NBA prospects
  • Give playing time to rookies and bench players
  • Help injured NBA players rehab
  • Give unsigned players a path to the NBA
  • Let coaches, referees, and front office staff develop too

So first I will start with the Pistons.

Thought you might like to see my article about my son’s AAU Basketball team back in the day. Like you, I am an outdoor guy. But unlike you, I was not into basketball until my son wanted to play. Had to work around skiing to get it done but I did and enjoyed every minute of high school basketball and especially the AAU. I like this information on the G League. My son talks about it all the time. Thanks for sharing the informaiton.
